Broccoli is from cabbage family looks like green cauliflower. The edible parts of it are the flowering heads, which are shaped like a tree, coming off a thick, central, edible stalk. It is known as super vegetable also due to highly nutritious in nature. Raw or cooked broccolis both are safe to health.

Broccoli gives low calories; 100gm of it gives 34 calories. Because of high water content, it provides low protein and carbohydrate. It is rich in dietary fiber, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants.
