Combiflam tablet is a combination medicine used as anti-inflammatory pain killers. It is used to relieve mild to moderate pain that is temporary. This medicine should be used with caution due to the increased risk of liver damage and bleeding complications.
Main uses are to relieve pain like
Headache
Toothache
Muscle pain
Joint pain
Back pain
Post-operative pain
Pain during menstruation
Pain due to osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis

It contains Ibuprofen and Paracetamol as active ingredients
Paracetamol is an analgesic (pain reliever) and antipyretic (fever reducer)
Ibuprofen is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug
During pain our body releases some chemicals like prostaglandin. If we stop these chemical then can get relieve in pain.
So, paracetamol and ibuprofen components of combiflam works by blocking the production of chemicals. Because these chemicals cause pain, fever and inflammation.

Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. It is better to take Combiflam Tablet with food.

Allergies, pre-existing diseases, and current health conditions (e.g. pregnancy, upcoming surgery). Some time it causes side-effects. Consumption of alcohol is not recommended during treatment with this medicine due to the increased risk of serious side effects such as severe gastrointestinal bleeding, dizziness, fatigue, weakness, rashes, nausea, joint pain, fever.

Methotrexate
Sodium Nitrite
Leflunomide
Prilocaine
Drug interact moderately with these drugs like:
Carbamazepine
Phenytoin
Corticosteroids
Antihypertensive
Anticoagulants
Avoid taking alcohol
Avoid using it if allergic to paracetamol
Consult with your doctor if you develop blurred vision, ringing or roaring in ears
Inform your doctor if you have bruising or bleeding
Take the drug with a meal or snack to prevent upset stomach
This medicine should be used with caution in patients with anaemia due to the increased risk of worsening of the patient’s condition
Combiflam Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease
Use of Combiflam Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease. Long term use of this medicine can affect the kidney function
Hypersensitivity to combiflam tablet is a contraindication. In addition, combiflam tablet should not be used if you have the following conditions:
Active peptic ulcer
Breastfeeding
Gastrointestinal bleeding
Hepatic impairment
Hypersensitivity
Pregnant
Not recommended in patients with known conditions like asthma, rhinitis, and urticarial
Not recommended in patients with recent heart surgery
Is Combiflam tablet safe?

Can combiflam tablet take along with methotrexate?
Tablet may increase the blood levels of methotrexate and can cause liver injury, breathing problem, and bleeding.
Can you take aspirin and combiflam together?
Combiflam Tablet may reduce the effect of aspirin and increases the risk of bleeding.
What happens if you take an overdose of combiflam tablet?
Overdose of this medicine can cause life-threatening condition like liver damage, which is the most serious side effect. Early symptoms may include nausea, vomiting, profuse sweating, and general tiredness.

This medicine is not recommended for use in pregnant women unless absolutely necessary. All the risks and benefits should be discussed with the doctor before taking this medicine.
