Pregnancy 2nd month symptoms and changes in body are normally similar to the previous month. But some extra changes also occur in the body. Woman’s body undergoes many changes to accommodate a growing baby.
This month, ovary continue to produce progesterone hormone which is important to maintain the pregnancy. Blood circulation in the body increases to meet the needs of the unborn baby. And it leads to raise the body temperature.
Abdomen begin to swell ever so slightly. Uterus size also increases but it is still hidden within the pelvis.
Nausea and vomiting during pregnancy are common symptoms and it affect around 85% of women. Morning sickness begin around the first week and continue through the 2nd or 3rd month of pregnancy.
Normally nausea has zero impact on mother’s health or the baby’s health. Depression, low concentration and aversion to certain food are condition feel during pregnancy.

Visits to the washroom are now more frequent than ever. Frequent urination during early pregnancy is related to hormones. After the embryo implants itself on the uterus, women’s body produces the human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) hormone that triggers an increase in urination.
Pregnancy hormones often make women crazy. If you are two months pregnant and experiencing mood swings, you are not alone. Sometimes, you may be full of enthusiasm or sometimes depressed. It is because of hormones estrogen and progesterone. They affect the level of brain chemicals that regulate mood.
Hormonal changes coupled with a nutritional deficiency can lead to crazy food cravings. Certain food items may not be fulfil your hunger. There is different criteria for different women. Some food you cannot able to smell and taste.
Sometimes suddenly you want particular food at that time. Without that food you cannot resist.

Along with progesterone and estrogen, women’s body also produces a hormone hCG. Estrogen and progesterone hormone help to maintain the pregnancy and hCG ensures that the body does not treat the baby as an intruder. New symptoms like vaginal discharge and bloating will appear. To avoid constipation drink plenty of water and eat high-fiber food.
