Contact dermatitis is a type of eczema or skin infection. Vaginal pimples are more likely caused by contact dermatitis. This infection occurs due to contact with an allergen or an irritant.

Bubble baths, shower washes and soaps, especially if they contain fragrances
Feminine wipes, deodorants, lotions, powders, or perfumes
Sanitary pads or tampons especially scented
Douches
Spermicides, condoms, lubricants, or sexual arousal stimulants
Over-the-counter topical medications
Laundry detergent and dryer sheets
Any irritation of the skin with any of these allergens can result in formation of pimples around vagina.

Folliculitis is an infection and inflammation of the hair follicles due to bacteria. It is very common cause of vaginal pimples.
A follicle is a small skin cavity from which hair grows, each hair on the body growing out of its own follicle.
Shaving or trimming of pubic hair is one potential cause of folliculitis. As your hair starts growing out of the follicle, it curls back toward the skin, causing irritation.
Reason for folliculitis are
Shaving or trimming
Ingrown hairs
Wearing tight clothing, or clothing that rubs off the skin
Follicles of hairs that get block or irritate by sweat or personal products
Use of an unclean hot tub or swimming pool
An infected cut or wound, perhaps from shaving, which lets bacteria spread to nearby hair follicles

It is a viral infection characterized by pimples that can occur anywhere on the body, including the vaginal area.
Pimples are usually small, raised, and white or flesh colour. They can be pearly in appearance and have a dimple at their centre.
It can treat by topical or oral medication. And sometime this condition usually clears up within 6-12 months, but can take up to 4 years.

Hidradenitis suppurativa (HS), also known as acne inversa. It is a chronic disease of the sweat glands. It causes pimple-like lesions around the body, including in the groin and under the breasts. Sometimes sores contain pus.
These do not heal easily and can leave scars. Cause of this rare inflammatory disease isn’t clear. There are treatments, but not cure.
Other causes of vaginal pimples can be sexually transmitted diseases like genital warts, genital herpes.
Bartholin’s glands are located on each side of the vagina. Sometimes these can become blocked, leading to the formation of cysts. These cysts are usually painless and do not require treatment

First determine the exact reason behind the vaginal pimples. Keep a note of the occurrence of vaginal pimples by using any products, activities, or other factors which may affect the genital area.
Pimples on private parts are due to by minor irritation and may clear up on their own. If they don’t, or if they’re getting worse, consult with doctor.
For contact dermatitis topical medications or antihistamines may be recommended. Infections can be treated with topical or oral antibiotics.
For acne inversa early diagnosis and treatment are advised to keep symptoms under control.
While for Molluscum contagiosum often clears up without any treatment, medication may be prescribed for persistent cases.

Wash the private area part daily with warm water and mild, unperfumed soap. Avoid using harsh cleaning products inside the vagina.
Always go for cotton undergarments and avoid fabrics that trap heat and moisture. Use loose, comfortable clothing that allows the skin to breathe, and always change clothing after working out.
Regularly change tampons or sanitary towels during menstruation. Avoid using fragrant sanitary pads.

Popping or squeezing of vaginal pimples can cause further infection pain and irritation. The risk of spreading bacteria increases, and the pimples may grow in number and severity. Wait for a pimple to rupture naturally or seek medical treatment.
Prevention is always better than cure. So vaginal pimples can be prevent by simply practice some common good habits, like:
Avoid or reduce the contact with irritants
Treating any medical conditions that lead to pimples
Use cotton underwear and loose-fitting clothing
Practice good personal hygiene
Do not touch, pop or squeeze the pimple
